What was that?

Is that a bird perched on the fence post?

Holly saw it as well

and he stayed up there looking until the moon came up

and the sun went down.

Still not sure about the chickens

Holly says: Each time we try to go past them, they start clucking and following us. Mum laughs and says they can't 'get'us', we are not so sure!

I've decided to go for cute instead, I am not getting replaced by a chicken!

Now we know what chickens are

Gus says: This morning Mum & Dad took us outside and said 'look what we've got'! Well they seemed excited but I took a deep breath and went to have a look.

Holly was not so sure, she stood still for ages like she was on point duty. She was OK in the end, she agrees with me so long as they stay in that 'run', they can stay!

Nice to be home

Had a quick treat when we got home and then it was straight out to sort them mice out! Took Holly 20 mins to get her first one.....Gus not far behind.

We have been on holiday

Holly says: We have been on holiday. We are not too sure we enjoy it but Mum says she likes holidays. We stayed with a lovely lady called Kerstin, she has a lot of cats stay with her. Gus wasn't too well one day and poor Kerstin had to clear up the mess. Mum says its nerves, he is such a sensitive boy, even the cat flap scares him. I had a lovely groom, Mum says my tail is half the size it was. If anyone who has cats wants them to stay here it is very nice. Chris Cat will show you around, he sort of owns the place!  http://www.orchard-cattery.com/
First photo is Gus, who got back in his travel case in the hope it was all a mistake and he would wake up and find himself back home. Second photo is me.....Mum & Dad took two baskets so I thought I would grab the biggest while Gus was still having a wobble.
