Mum and Dad had some logs delivered, these look interesting.

Those pesky chickens, I have to keep guard to make sure they don't come in. 

The other day I wasn't looking and one made it into the bedroom.

Mum has got her sewing machine out, its great, I help pull the material through!

It's raining, we are not allowed out, we are bored.

So Mum has had to empty out her airing cupboard.....I found a nice place to sit in amongst all the clean washing......what's wrong with that?

Gus wrecked the Christmas tree! Monkey Boy!

I haven't been blogging either

That's because I have taken a part time job as an ornament!

Gus the Brave

I havn't blogged for a while but I did a really brave thing today

Dad has fenced off the raspberries so the chickens and the rabbits don't eat them. Mum was weeding in the raspberries and throwing the over ripe ones out to one of the chickens that was watching her.

I didn't think Mum ought to be feeding a chicken when she should have been feeding me.
................
so I rushed up behind the chicken and head butted her in the bum!

Mum screamed with laughter, the chicken (above) flew in the air, I did a lap of honour of the raspberry patch!

Shed watch

We KNOW there is something under that shed. Gus has been there for days and today he called for reinforcements.

Sin bin

Yesterday a small person came to our house, I don't like small people so I spent all day hiding under the bed, I could have gone out but under the bed felt safe.
As I hadn't been out all day I decided that a late night jaunt would be the thing but Mum had gone to bed so I tried to get her up. She was a bit cross and said I wasn't allowed out late at night and put me in the conservatory.
Mum woke at five this morning, she must have felt sorry for me, so she let me out, no point now it was already daylight.
How was I to know that Mum would go back to bed, so when I started yowling outside her window at seven she said I was a monkey. Now even I know I am a cat!
I then tried killing my sister Holly, she had been her usual Miss Good Cat, slept on the bed all night, never wakes anyone up. That did it really, I am now in a self imposed Sin bin for a couple of hours until they forget all about it.

Bats

Mum got Dad to put up a bat box soon after they moved in

It has been empty up until now.........

But recently............

I am sure bats are in there.....so is Gus


But I can't reach them and they fly real fast!

What, I can't believe it, the door to the hen cage is open!

Yup, they have all got out.

I then spent the rest of the afternoon making sure the chooks were OK. They were fine, apart from the three buffs that tried a pincer movement on me, after that I sat with my back to the wall for a while.

Spending spree by Holly

Mum has bought us a new litter tray, it's huge. She said that Gus is a big boy and needs a big tray. He's not that big, you could get a tiger in there!

I decided to try it out. Works fine!

Mum has also got us a water fountain so we can have fresh water. It's really nice and I had a drink straight away. Gus seems a bit scared of it. Silly boy.

Notice the piece of string....so they wave this at me and expect me to chase it when I am laying in front of the fire! They cannot be serious.

Mum likes me to sleep on a blanket, she says to keep my fur off the bed....but I like doing it my way!
